Providing Hands-on Science Fun Afterschool Programs for Charlotte and the Surrounding North and South Carolina Counties

You Can't Be Bored Afterschool With FUN Science Experiments!
Geared for students in Preschool through Fifth grade, High Touch High Tech of Charlotte afterschool programs and afterschool enrichments provide science experiences that spark your student's imagination.
All materials are included and many of our programs include take-home experiments. Each student will receive a science certificate of participation in recognition for their efforts and accomplishments.
CMS ASEP WORKSHOPS:
Run for 60 minutes. The time can be split into 2, 30 minute sessions if desired to meet the needs of your afterschool. Please call for pricing.
AFTERSCHOOL WORKSHOPS:
Last for 30 minutes and can accommodate as many 30 minute workshops as necessary to meet the needs of your school. The cost for these educational, fun-filled workshops is $3.75 per student with a $150.00 program minimum, plus a $10.00 travel fee per scientist per day.
AFTERSCHOOL ENRICHMENTS:
Meet for 1 hour each week over an 8-12 week period and can accommodate any facility or number of children. We can customize the curriculum to meet your programming needs. The cost for these "edu-taining" enrichment programs is $10.00 per student per week with a $150.00 weekly program minimum.
Reservations
Reservations are required and must be accompanied by a $35.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your requested date.

Afterschool Program Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
Q: Do any of your programs contain food items or edible experiments?
A: Some of our programs do have edible experiments, or may contain food items. If there are any foods or substances (ex. Nuts, Eggs, Latex, etc.) that are prohibited from your school, please inform us when you place your booking. We can certainly adapt a program to remove and replace an experiment if needed.
Q: Can I pay for a High Touch High Tech Afterschool Programs with grant dollars?
A: Yes. Many High Touch High Tech programs have been paid for with grant dollars received via the 21st Century Grant, Eisenhower Grant and several Local & State Grants.
Q: Is a deposit required when I make my reservation?
A: Yes. We require a $35.00 deposit along with a signed copy of your confirmation letter in order to hold your requested date.
Q: How should I set up my facility in preparation for the Scientist?
A: Our Scientists can conduct hands-on science programs where ever children are gathered and excited to learn! Participants will simply need a level surface on which to work (i.e. table top, floor space, etc.). Note that some programs may require access to water; therefore, access to a sink and tap would also be helpful.
